Florence Free Walking Tour
Our free tour gives you the opportunity to visit the city of Florence and its places of interest, whatever your budget is. The tour is open to all and is based on a system of tip (gratuity). There is no fixed price, but you pay according to your resourches, the skills of the guide and your satisfaction. Our certified guides will show you the secrets of the city and its history in a 2 and a half hour walking tour. Start with the famous Duomo, the Gothic cathedral with its impressive dome, next to the bell tower of Giotto and the Romanesque baptistery. Stroll through the streets where Dante, the author of the Divine Comedy, walked and to which the standardization of the Italian language is attributed (he will also pass in front of his house, now a museum). Pass by Piazza della Signoria, which remains the political center of the city, and admire the inner courtyard of the Uffizi (Vasarian Corridor), one of the most visited museums in the world. Our guide will also take you to see some hidden gems around the city, on the way. You will also cross Ponte Vecchio, one of the most photographed bridges in Italy. The tour will end in front of Palazzo Pitti. Look for the guide with the yellow umbrella of CITYWALKERS in front of the carousel in Piazza della Repubblica.
